MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT
Hello Hockey Families!
Yes, the hockey season is officially over, but things are still moving quickly in the "background". the board of river city hockey travel association would like everyone to know about three items that have surfaced for the organization.
New Board Members: As most of you know, we had two board members who needed to step down from their positions. For the final year of their terms, we interviewed potential candidates, and have appointed new members to the board.
With an undergraduate degree in finance and a law degree, DAVID JONES, spends many hours in his law practice working on cases surrounding finances and accounting. He is ready and excited to step in as our new TREASURER. david will be working with our current treasurer as our fiscal year ends, and then he will step into his new role in may. David has three sons who play for the Thunder.
Willing and ready to help youth hockey grow in san antonio, BILL BROWN enjoys spending time at the rink and helping young players learn more about the opportunities that we have for this sport in our city. He is excited to be a part of thunder hockey and is going to be our new SECRETARY. Bill will be taking this position immediately. Bill has one son who plays for the thunder, a daughter who is their to cheer, and one young son who is on his also making his way to the ice.
Rampage Jerseys: For many years, the teams of river city hockey travel association wore rampage jerseys. We still own those jerseys, but we are ready to pass them on ....to you! As a fundraiser for the orgainzation, we will be selling the rampage jerseys for $25 each (checks can be made to RCHTA). There are light and dark jerseys available in many numbers and sizes. Of course, some of you wore these jerseys and many want to buy your old jersey. So, they will be sold on a first come, first serve basis. To make a request to purchase a jersey, please send a note to robyn.t1@sbcglobal.net Please include your first, second, and third choices for the color, number, and size of jersey that you are interested in purchasing. (also, if you know players who played previously for one of the rampage teams, please help us spread the word about this "jersey sale".)
Committees:
Thank you to everyone who came to the annual meeting last week and a BIG thanks to those of you
who signed up to help with various committees. To those of you who were not able to come to
the meeting,please know that we still have many spots available on committees for next season.

greatly appreciated!
Equipment storage and exchange, End of the season awards, End of the season celebration, Fundraising, Helmet stickers, Jerseys and socks, Nameplates, Rampage lucky puck sales, Rampage ticket sales and intermission games, Team clothing orders, Trading pins, and Web Administrator.
